A New Form of Learning for Children with Angelman Syndrome!
What is Alphabet Therapy?
We originated the Alphabet
Therapy method in 2005,using
acombination of techniques from Applied Behavior Analysis. With
this new method, we have taught a deletion-positive child with Angelman syndrome academic skills.
Children with Angelman Syndrome are capable
of learning the
alphabet and learning to sight read key words. And from that foundation,
we can teach these children skills in mathmatics, science, and everything
in between!
